The Rolling Stones have had a rock from Mars named after them!

NASA decided to name the a small boulder “Rolling Stones Rock” after it was seen moving (err, rolling) around as the space agency’s InSight lander touched down on Mars last November.

A small boulder rolling might not seem like the biggest deal but according to NASA “It’s the farthest NASA has seen a rock roll while landing a spacecraft on another planet.” so it’s kind of a big deal.

To make things even cooler, it was announced by Robert Downey Jr ahead of the Stones concert.
